# Sales & Payments

> Take customer orders, manage item changes, and proceed to checkout on the POS.

Use these guides for everyday sales on your POBLE POS, from opening the sales screen to reviewing an order and choosing a payment method.

## Follow the sales workflow

1. Select **Start Sales** on the POS main screen.
2. Add menu items and choose any item options.
3. Review quantities, item discounts, and notes.
4. Check the order total and proceed with **Cash**, **Card**, or **Checkout**.

<Tip>
  Menu setup and taking orders are separate tasks. Use [Menu Management](/poble-manual/menu-management/overview) to create categories, items, and option groups before taking orders.
